Who could have ever thought that one of the top former congress leader would be invited as chief guest of an RSS event? Can you imagine Narendra modi or Amit shah to be chief guest at Congress event? But Congress stalwart who had resigned from all party posts before swearing in as president has shown softness towards RSS leaders a few times during past few years. The warm relations shared between him and Prime Minister narendra modi were also a pleasant surprise. Narendra modi had on number of platforms have said that he has received guidance from the father figure former president shri Pranab Mukherjee. Pranab mukherjee has also reciprocated by hailing modi as hard worker. However Former President Pranab Mukherjee to be chief guest at RSS event is surely a controversial news and congress leaders and spokesperson are facing such a situation which they have not faced before. They will either have to justify the happenings of condemn their tall leader who went on to become the Honorable president of India.

 

Political pundits are seeing this as master stroke by Narendra modi for 2019 loksabha elections.  As they say enemy’s enemy is a friend, Pranab mukherjee who was denied prime minister’s post by Congress, gonna hit them hard now. Many are seeing an agenda in this political happening. Some are predicting Pranab mukherjee’s hand in increasing BJP’s stronghold in bengal. Well, we can only predict and assume. Time will say.
